“For longtime LOJEL travelers around the world, this feels like coming home. For those discovering the brand for the first time in the Philippines, welcome to a new way of moving—intentional, enduring, and crafted for life on the go,” said An Chieh Chiang, CEO of LOJEL. “Since our beginnings in Japan in 1989, our mission has been clear: to create purposeful, resilient travel companions designed to last. This Concept Store allows us to share that philosophy more closely with Filipino travelers.”

Inspired by LOJEL’s minimalist Japanese heritage, the Concept Store features clean lines, neutral tones, and a serene layout that spotlights the brand’s two core luggage collections: Cubo and Voja. The space also introduces The Lab, a dedicated area for luggage maintenance and repair, reinforcing LOJEL’s commitment to longevity and responsible ownership.

Making its Philippine debut even more distinctive, LOJEL unveiled two new colorways at the opening. Cubo arrives in Indigo, a deep, modern shade that adds understated sophistication to the brand’s iconic expandable hard-shell line. Voja, meanwhile, is introduced in Ivory, an airy and elegant neutral designed for travelers who appreciate quiet refinement.

The store launch brought together a mix of personalities and creatives, including Glaiza de Castro, Katarina Rodriguez, Hannah Arnold, Bubbles Paraiso, Jai Agpangan, Kaori Oinuma, Jason Dy, Adrian Alandy, Marlo Mortel, Jasmine Alkhaldi, Aya Fernandez, Pinky Tobiano, and Priscilla Meirelles, who explored the space and experienced LOJEL’s design ethos firsthand.

Dinah Yau Lim, Chief Operating Officer of Primer PH Retail, shared the vision behind the brand’s local debut: “We are proud to bring LOJEL to Filipino travelers and build a community that embraces what the brand stands for—intentionality, longevity, and a more meaningful way of moving through the world.”

LOJEL’s Philippine Concept Store is now open at Level 2, South Main Mall, SM Mall of Asia. Discover the latest collections, explore the new colorways, and experience a new standard of mindful travel.
