Lenovo’s strategic focus on “Lenovo powers Lenovo” harnesses AI, infrastructure and sustainability to enhance the performance and resilience of its global supply chain

Lenovo continues to lead the way in global supply chain transformation, once again claiming the No.1 position in the Gartner® Asia/Pacific Supply Chain Top 10 for 2025, marking its fourth consecutive year at the top. The recognition highlights Lenovo’s operational excellence, agility, and commitment to sustainable, tech-driven growth across the Asia Pacific region.

In a parallel global achievement, Lenovo climbed to No. 8 in the Gartner Global Supply Chain Top 25, moving up two places from its 2024 ranking. The dual recognition reinforces the company’s leadership in AI innovation, operational resiliency, and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) performance.

“It’s an honor to be named No. 1 in Asia Pacific for the fourth year,” said Amar Babu, President of Lenovo Asia Pacific. “Moving up in the global rankings validates our relentless focus on building a smarter, more resilient supply chain that delivers value in a rapidly evolving world.”

Empowering Global Growth Through Supply Chain Resilience

Lenovo’s extensive global supply chain supports operations in 180 markets and includes over 30 manufacturing sites across 11 countries. Its ability to swiftly respond to market shifts and geopolitical dynamics is rooted in this scalable and flexible network.

To further strengthen its global presence, Lenovo is expanding into Saudi Arabia, a strategic move aimed at enhancing customer support across the Middle East and Africa. The investment will enable faster product delivery and deepen market engagement, while reinforcing Lenovo’s regional logistics capabilities.

AI-Driven Supply Chain Innovation

Central to Lenovo’s transformation is its “Lenovo Powers Lenovo” strategy, which leverages the company’s own technology to enhance internal operations. AI is now embedded across all stages of Lenovo’s supply chain—from production to sustainability, logistics, and customer service.

One breakthrough includes an AI-enabled risk alert and automation tool that provides end-to-end visibility, enabling real-time responses to global logistics disruptions. The system intelligently assesses costs, routes, and alternative actions, ensuring optimized delivery and cost-efficiency.

Championing Sustainability Through Circular Innovation

Sustainability continues to be a top priority, with Lenovo leading in circular innovation. The company has integrated recycled materials into more than 298 product lines, including advanced materials like aircraft by-product carbon fiber. It also uses sugar cane and bamboo in packaging to reduce environmental impact.

As a testament to its sustainable practices, Lenovo also ranked #3 in Gartner’s 2025 High Tech Top 10 and continues to stand out among companies successfully blending circularity with high-performance supply chain strategies.
