With nearly 30 years of global leadership in the hospitality industry, Mr. Rothbarth brings a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective to the property, reinforcing Lanson Place’s commitment to delivering exceptional, personalized guest experiences.

This strategic appointment underscores Lanson Place’s brand philosophy of warm, thoughtful hospitality and refined service. As General Manager, Mr. Rothbarth will lead the property’s strategic and operational direction, ensuring it continues to meet the dynamic needs of both business and leisure travelers. Prior to this role, Mr. Rothbarth held the position of Cluster General Manager for Fairmont Hotels and Safari Clubs Kenya, where he oversaw iconic properties including Fairmont The Norfolk in Nairobi and the Fairmont Mara Safari Club. His exemplary leadership earned Fairmont The Norfolk the prestigious World Travel Award for ‘Africa’s Leading City Hotel’ in 2023.

A native of Offenbach, Germany, Mr. Rothbarth’s impressive hospitality career spans across Africa and Asia, with senior management roles in Ethiopia, Zambia, South Africa, and the Philippines. Notably, he served as the pre-opening General Manager of Park Inn by Radisson North EDSA, Manila, adding local expertise to his international résumé.
