OPM icon and pop-rock trailblazer Kitchie Nadal is set to make history with her first-ever solo headlining concert at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on June 21, 2025 (Saturday), 8:00 PM. Titled “New Ground Manila,” the concert promises to be a bold reinvention—an exciting chapter that marks a fresh creative direction in Kitchie’s storied career.
“New Ground is all about me exploring a new direction in my music career,” Kitchie shares. “Expect fresh tracks, unexpected collaborations, and an overall experience that’s bigger and braver than what we did during my 20th anniversary concert in 2024.”
Known for pushing boundaries, Kitchie teases that the show will feature genre-bending performances and surprise collaborations with artists she’s never worked with before—a thrilling departure from anything her fans have seen in the past.
🔥 From OPM Rock Queen to Global Songstress
Kitchie first rose to fame as the original frontwoman of Mojofly before launching a successful solo career that defined the golden age of 2000s Pinoy Rock. Her self-titled debut album gave birth to timeless anthems like “Huwag na Huwag Mong Sasabihin,” “Same Ground,” “Bulong!!!” and “Breathe.” The album debuted at #4 on the Philippine Albums Chart, quickly climbing to #1, and ultimately earning a 7× Platinum certification—cementing her status as the most successful female solo pop-rock act in OPM history.
Now based in Spain and a proud mother, Kitchie draws new inspiration from both family life and her European surroundings.
“Motherhood and my kids have been a huge creative influence. Living in Spain also exposed me to a lot of European and Spanish music, some of which tackle social issues I’m passionate about. That’s the energy and message I want to bring into this new era of my music.”
