Jollibee soared to victory as Grand Champion at the 2026 Dinagyang Festival Mardi Gras Parade of Sponsors, one of the most anticipated highlights of Iloilo City’s annual cultural celebration, drawing thousands of excited spectators.

The country’s beloved fast-food icon outshined other parade entries with a vibrant, high-energy presentation inspired by its signature Chickenjoy and Yumburger. Students from Iloilo National High School brought the floats to life through dynamic street dance performances, perfectly timed to festive music, while colorful costumes reflected both local traditions and the joyful personality of the brand.

Beyond the Grand Champion title, Jollibee swept multiple special awards, including:
- Best Street Dance
- Best Festive Music
- Best Festive Mascot
- Best Festive Costume
- Best Festive Marquee
“Being recognized at the Dinagyang Festival is deeply meaningful for us,” said Dorothy Ching, Vice President for Marketing of Jollibee Philippines. “But beyond the awards, what truly matters is sharing joy with the community and celebrating the rich culture and spirit of Iloilo together with the Ilonggos.”

Lighting Up the Festival
Jollibee also captivated crowds during the ILOmination Float Parade, where its illuminated float and the Jollibee and Friends mascots energized festivalgoers with lively dance performances, spreading cheer across the city.
The brand’s Dinagyang festivities kicked off earlier in the month with a media day preview, showcasing its festival initiatives. Travelers arriving at Iloilo International Airport were greeted by the Jollibee mascot, setting the tone for a joyful and festive celebration.

Throughout the festival, Jollibee stores across Iloilo were transformed with Dinagyang-themed decorations and activities, becoming hubs for families to gather and celebrate. The brand also launched the “Likha Local: JOYful Arts Program,” encouraging children to engage with the festival through art and creative expression.

Celebrating Culture, Creating Joy
Jollibee’s active participation in Dinagyang highlights its ongoing commitment to supporting local culture and community celebrations. By blending vibrant performances, family-friendly activities, and cultural pride, the brand continues to amplify the festival spirit while creating lasting, shared moments of joy for both locals and visitors.
