Multi-awarded actress and platinum-selling GMA artist Jennylyn Mercado returns to the music spotlight with her latest single “Ayaw Pang Umuwi”—marking a much-anticipated comeback and her debut project under ABS-CBN’s Star Music. Ayaw Pang Umuwi, composed by Trisha Denise and produced by ABS-CBN Music’s creative head Jonathan Manalo, is a light and feel-good pop track that captures the bliss of wanting to stay a little longer with someone you love. “At first, I wasn’t sure if the song would suit me because it’s very different from what I’ve done before—it’s cutesy and medyo bagets,” Jennylyn admitted. “But I trusted Sir Jonathan and Sir Roxy completely. They’re two of the best in the industry, and I knew I was in good hands.”
Since its release last Friday (April 11) across major streaming platforms, the song has received glowing feedback from fans, further building excitement for her full album.
