Ahead of its much-anticipated launch, HONOR Philippines invited esteemed media partners to an Ultra Tough Challenge camp. Here, they subjected this exceptionally durable smartphone to a battery of tests.
The phone showcased its resilience by enduring a car runover with a heavyweight Hummer and participated in an intense smash test relay where participants aimed to break as many thick tiles as possible in 30 seconds. The device even faced off in competitive paintball, sparring, and archery contests to exhibit its toughness. Impressively, the HONOR X9b 5G survived a 50-ft Drop Test, leaving the lingering question: can it endure a 100-ft drop? Find out on January 12!
Stephen Cheng, Vice President of HONOR Philippines, emphasized the device’s durability, having undergone meticulous study and three tempering processes. While confident in its ability to withstand immense pressure, Cheng advised against intentionally dropping or smashing the phone, as these actions might still physically damage it.
The HONOR X9b 5G boasts a 120Hz curved AMOLED screen and a micron-sized gap structure for 360° drop resistance. Its features include a 108MP main camera, 5MP ultra-wide camera, and 3x zoom for high-quality shots. Complemented by its ultra-durable 5800 mAh battery, users can expect a worry-free, full-day battery life.
