From robotics innovation to flagship devices, HONOR expands its AI device ecosystem at MWC 2026
At this year’s Mobile World Congress 2026, global technology brand HONOR showcased its bold vision for the future of intelligent devices, advancing its Augmented Human Intelligence (AHI) strategy and accelerating its ALPHA PLAN through three interconnected pillars: Alpha Phone, Alpha Store, and Alpha Lab.
The company introduced a series of innovations designed to redefine how people interact with technology—from a concept Robot Phone exploring embodied AI to its latest foldable flagship, the HONOR Magic V6, alongside new ecosystem devices including the HONOR MagicPad 4 tablet and HONOR MagicBook Pro 14 laptop.
According to HONOR CEO James Li, the company’s direction is guided by a human-centric approach to artificial intelligence.
“With human-centric innovation as our lighthouse, we navigate the growth of AI through both IQ and EQ, bringing different forms of intelligence together,” Li said. “Through Alpha Phone, Alpha Store, and Alpha Lab, we are building a new paradigm for AI devices, ecosystems, and silicon-carbon innovation.”
A Sneak Peek at the HONOR Robot Phone

One of the most intriguing highlights of HONOR’s presentation was the Robot Phone, a concept device that explores the idea of embodied AI—where smartphones go beyond static interaction and gain motion-enabled awareness.
Rather than responding only through screens and voice commands, the Robot Phone incorporates robot-grade motion control and spatial awareness, allowing the device to move, track subjects, and adjust its viewing perspective in real time.
The concept features:
- All-angle AI video calling that follows users through robotic motion control
- Expressive gestures, including nodding or shaking movements
- Music-responsive movements, even dancing to a beat
- Multimodal perception, enabling the device to recognize sound, track motion, and maintain visual awareness
At the hardware level, HONOR engineered an ultra-compact 4DoF gimbal system powered by a custom micro motor. This architecture supports three-axis stabilization, ensuring smooth video capture even during movement.
Additional imaging innovations include:
- AI Object Tracking for intelligent subject following
- Super Steady Video mode for dynamic environments
- AI SpinShot, enabling 90° and 180° cinematic camera rotations
Paired with a 200MP camera sensor, the Robot Phone aims to bridge the gap between smartphone videography and professional storytelling.
HONOR Magic V6 Sets a New Benchmark for Foldables

4
While the Robot Phone looks toward the future, the HONOR Magic V6 represents HONOR’s latest achievement in foldable engineering.
The device features an ultra-thin 8.75mm profile when folded, paired with a reinforced hinge structure designed for durability and long-term reliability. It also carries IP68 and IP69 ratings, offering protection against water and dust.
One of its standout innovations is fifth-generation silicon-carbon battery technology, developed in partnership with Amperex Technology Limited. The battery incorporates 25% silicon content, delivering improved energy density within the slim foldable design.
Key highlights include:
- 6,660mAh battery in an ultra-thin foldable form
- Dual LTPO 2.0 displays (6.52-inch external and 7.95-inch internal)
- Adaptive 1–120Hz refresh rates
- Peak brightness up to 6,000 nits
The inner display also uses ultra-thin flexible glass with SGS minimized crease certification, reducing visible fold lines by 44% compared with the previous generation.
Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, the Magic V6 is optimized for AI-driven productivity, gaming, and multitasking.
Expanding the AI Ecosystem: HONOR MagicPad 4 and HONOR MagicBook Pro 14

4
HONOR also expanded its ecosystem with two new AI-powered productivity devices.
The HONOR MagicPad 4 is an ultra-slim 4.8mm tablet powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 platform. It features a 12.3-inch 3K OLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate, designed for smooth content creation and multitasking.
Meanwhile, the HONOR MagicBook Pro 14 strengthens HONOR’s AI laptop lineup with Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors. The laptop combines a 14.6-inch OLED display, intelligent performance management, and a lightweight design suited for creative and professional workloads.
Both devices support cross-device collaboration, enabling seamless connectivity across smartphones, tablets, laptops, and even multi-platform environments.
HONOR’s First Humanoid Robot Signals Future AI Ambitions
Beyond consumer devices, HONOR also revealed its first humanoid robot, marking a strategic expansion into robotics.
The company plans to focus on three key scenarios:
- Retail and shopping assistance
- Workplace inspections
- Companion support for users
By leveraging its deep understanding of users through smartphones and connected devices, HONOR aims to create robots capable of recognizing individuals, understanding preferences, and providing personalized assistance.
Availability
The HONOR Magic V6 is expected to launch in select global markets in the second half of the year, with local availability, pricing, and configurations to be announced later.
The HONOR MagicPad 4 will arrive in Grey and White color options in selected regions, with pricing and promotional bundles varying by market.
