The third edition of the Travel Sale Expo (TSE) wrapped up its highly anticipated run last September 26–28, 2025, at the SM Megamall Megatrade Hall, once again solidifying its spot as the country’s premier travel fair.

Organized by the Global Tourism Business Association (GTBA) and Oneklik Events, in partnership with the Philippine Retirement Authority (PRA), Boracay Malay LGU, Tourism Malaysia, and the Guam Visitors Bureau (GVB)—with strong support from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of Tourism (DOT), and various embassies—the three-day event gathered over 200 exhibitors spanning airlines, hotels, cruises, and tours. Tens of thousands of travelers and industry players came together for an unforgettable celebration of travel.

“Your Gateway to the World”
With this year’s theme, TSE opened doors to both local gems like Boracay, Bohol, and Cebu, and international favorites including Taiwan, Malaysia, and Vietnam. Visitors enjoyed exclusive packages, irresistible discounts, and flexible payment terms, ensuring dream trips are now within reach for every Filipino.

GTBA Founding Chairman and TSE Chairperson Michelle Taylan highlighted the mission of the expo:

“We are moving towards democratizing travel for the everyday Filipino. The Travel Sale Expo is designed to make dream trips accessible, affordable, and stress-free. It’s not just about YOLO or FOMO anymore—people want smarter, value-packed travel choices, and that’s what we deliver.”

More than Deals: A Tourism Hub
Beyond exciting promos, TSE served as a dynamic networking platform for local suppliers, international operators, and government agencies. Discussions spotlighted halal tourism, sustainable travel opportunities, and emerging industry trends, opening fresh possibilities for collaboration.

A key highlight was the expanded partnership with DTI, which teamed up with DOT to showcase local products, heritage, and Muslim-friendly tourism offerings—strengthening the Philippines’ role as a welcoming and inclusive destination in ASEAN and beyond.

An Immersive Experience
Attendees were treated not only to amazing travel deals, but also to surprise performances, interactive booths, and travel essential pop-ups from global brands. GTBA emphasized that travel should not just be seen as a luxury, but as a lifestyle choice that fuels livelihoods and drives the economy.

“Events like TSE are not only about promoting destinations, but also about creating jobs and strengthening the entire tourism value chain. We are proud to provide a platform that uplifts both the industry and the traveling public,” Taylan added.

A Growing Tradition
Since its debut in 2023, the Travel Sale Expo has grown exponentially. This year exceeded expectations and firmly established the event as a must-attend highlight of the tourism calendar. Organizers promise an even bigger celebration in 2026, as TSE continues to unlock opportunities for Filipinos to see the world—one affordable trip at a time.

The grand opening was graced by DOT Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco, DTI Director Aleem Guiapal, DFA Asec. Rhenita B. Rodriguez, Mayor Frolibar Bautista, Guam Senator Hon. Shelley Calvo, ambassadors from Indonesia, India, Vietnam, Cambodia, Israel, Taiwan, and other dignitaries.
