Star Cinema’s latest romantic-comedy hit My Love Will Make You Disappear continues to charm audiences around the world, crossing the ₱100 million mark in global box office earnings as of March 31.

Marking the first big-screen pairing of Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino, the film has kept its momentum going strong after an impressive opening both in the Philippines and abroad, particularly in the U.S. and Canada over the past weekend.

Following its Philippine premiere, the film raked in ₱12 million on its opening day and soared to ₱40 million in just four days. It is now showing in theaters across North America, Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East, and selected territories in Europe and Asia.

Kim and Paulo recently flew to Los Angeles for a special three-day screening at the Cinemark Carson Theater, where they met excited fans. During the trip, the California Legislature Assembly also awarded the two stars Certificates of Recognition for their contributions to cinema and for championing Asian artistic excellence on the global stage.

Fans in the Middle East will also have their turn to meet the beloved duo during a special meet and greet at Reel Cinemas, Dubai Mall, happening on April 12 and 13. The film is also scheduled to premiere in Austria on April 5 and in Cambodia on April 18.

Directed by Chad Vidanes, My Love Will Make You Disappear follows the story of Sari (Kim Chiu), an eccentric woman who believes every man she falls in love with mysteriously vanishes. Her world turns upside down when she meets Jolo (Paulo Avelino), a heartbroken man who, after learning about Sari’s unusual “curse,” is determined to make her fall for him—hoping it will be his way to finally disappear and escape his past.

The film also features an all-star supporting cast including Melai Cantiveros, Wilma Doesnt, Lovely Abella, Benj Manalo, Nico Antonio, Migs Almendras, Martin Escudero, Karina Bautista, Jeremiah Lisbo, Atasha Franco, Kelsey Lasam, and Lucas Andalio.
