Multi-platinum hard rock titans FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH (5FDP) are celebrating two decades of dominance with the release of two career-defining greatest hits collections: Best Of – Volume 1 (released in July) and the newly launched Best Of – Volume 2.
Both albums feature freshly re-recorded versions of the band’s biggest anthems, created after their original masters were sold without their knowledge or chance to reclaim them.
Turning an obstacle into inspiration, 5FDP chose not to remix or remaster, but to completely re-record fan favorites across both volumes—a powerful tribute to the music, their legacy, and the fans who’ve stood with them for 20 years.
Iconic tracks like “Sham Pain,” “Blue On Black,” “Trouble,” and “Burn MF” return with renewed fire while still honoring the originals and the people who helped create them.
Best Of – Volume 2 features 16 re-recorded classics, along with three previously unreleased live recordings of “Wash It All Away,” “Wrong Side of Heaven,” and “Jekyll and Hyde.”
“The End” featuring BABYMETAL – A Historic Collaboration
Alongside today’s release of Volume 2, the band also dropped a new single: “The End” featuring BABYMETAL. The track has been climbing the rock charts and currently sits at #5.
BABYMETAL’s SU-METAL, who contributed Japanese lyrics inspired by the original song, shared her excitement:
“I spent a lot of time experimenting to find the voice that best fit this deep, cool track. My favorite moment is when my voice is gradually engulfed by Ivan’s growl—it gave me chills. I hope listeners feel that too.”
The collaboration is already making history as the first song with Japanese lyrics to break into U.S. Active Rock radio. It has also dominated the Japanese iTunes Metal Chart, holding the #1 spot for weeks, and even reached #18 on the All Genres Chart—a rare achievement for an international rock release.

Earlier this year, Best Of – Volume 1 was led by the 2025 re-recording of “I Refuse” featuring Maria Brink, which hit #1 on the rock charts.
