As part of its commitment to advancing Tech Up businesses through pioneering innovation and top-notch business solutions, Union Bank of the Philippines (UnionBank), named AsiaMoney’s 2023s Best Bank for SMEs, has recently joined forces with the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) in the Philippines.

The partnership between UnionBank and EO Philippines was solidified through a memorandum of agreement (MOA) signing ceremony on October 26 at UnionBank Plaza in Pasig City.

Under this collaboration, UnionBank will provide tailored solutions to EO members and their partners, addressing their specific entrepreneurial requirements. Among these offerings is the issuance of a UnionBank Platinum MasterCard to eligible members, along with an affinity program through the UnionBank GlobalLinker platform. This platform enables EO members to seamlessly connect digitally and extend special discounts and offers to their fellow EO members.

On the EO front, the organization will welcome UnionBank’s participation in their learning events and programs. EO members may also be engaged as mentors and speakers for UnionBank events, sharing their invaluable entrepreneurial expertise and best practices.

Present at the event were EO Philippines President Benjamin So, Strategic Alliance Partner Heads Jun Lao and Lawrence Cobankiat, alongside UnionBank representatives, including Mon Duarte, Head of Transaction Banking Center, Dino Velasco, Head of Institutional Segment Marketing, and key figures from both organizations.

“UnionBank and EO share common values, and the solutions you offer will resonate with our members and community. It’s straightforward and relevant, adding substantial value to our membership and community,” expressed So.

“This alliance between UnionBank and EO is a perfect match. There’s a shared desire to foster this entrepreneurial spirit. UnionBank offers the best products to streamline banking processes, making transactions simpler, with minimal bureaucracy. Hopefully, we can all leverage UnionBank’s products to simplify, expedite, and economize our business processes,” stated Lao.
