EastWest Bank Concludes Anniversary with Dream Run Grand Finale in Manila_1

The Filinvest Event Grounds in Alabang transformed into a vibrant sea of color, movement, and celebration as over 6,000 runners came together for the grand finale of the EastWest Dream Run 2025 — the biggest leg of the series, commemorating EastWest Bank’s 30th anniversary and the Filinvest Group’s 70th year.

Joining the crowd were no less than the Bank’s founders, including Filinvest Chairman Jonathan Gotianun, who laced up alongside EastWest employees, partners, and customers — a powerful symbol of unity across generations of dreamers and doers.

“It was an initiative that united thousands,” said EastWest CEO Jerry Ngo. “Manila showed up with its whole heart. You could feel the excitement from start to finish. It was everything we hoped for and more.”

🏃‍♂️ A Run for Everyone

From the charming 1K Dog Run to the intense 30K Dream Challenge, the Dream Run welcomed all kinds of runners — families, first-timers, fitness junkies, and fur parents alike. But this wasn’t just a race — it was a festival of wellness and fun.

After crossing the finish line, runners entered a lively fairground where they were treated to a Zumba party, free taho and sorbetes, and loot bags packed with goodies from Gatorade, Monde Nuvi, Salonpas, Gumtect, Chlorelief, Park Access, Rexona, and EastWest-branded items.

🎉 A Village of Dreams

Sponsors and partners kept the momentum going with interactive booths from Filinvest Land Inc., Filinvest City, Crimson Alabang, Galinco, Mogu Mogu, Surge Fitness + Lifestyle, and WeTake Wellness. Runners explored, engaged, and celebrated their victories with games, samples, and more.

Major sponsor Mazda also played a key role in driving the EastWest Dream Run to its grand conclusion.

🏅 More Than Medals

Every participant received a specially designed Dreamcatcher medal, reflecting EastWest’s brand line: “Your Dream, Our Focus.” It was a keepsake — not just for completing the run, but for celebrating progress, resilience, and ambition. Top finishers in each category were also awarded for their outstanding performances.

❤️ Stories That Moved the Crowd

While the podium winners shone, the heart of the Dream Run was in the stories shared along the route — families finishing their first race together, barkadas who trained for months, and everyday champions chasing personal goals.

Renowned race organizer Coach Rio dela Cruz, founder of Runrio, captured the magic of the moment:

“Every leg had something special, but Manila was different. It was full of energy, full of heart. Nakakatuwang makita ang lahat ng tao na sama-sama sa goal na ‘to.”

🌟 A Legacy in Motion

“The Dream Run series may be over, but the spirit it sparked will carry on,” said Ngo. “This year was about finding new ways to connect with the people who believe in what EastWest stands for. That connection doesn’t stop here.”

EastWest looks forward to turning this celebration into a lasting tradition — one that communities across the country can rally behind in the years to come.
