Dusit Foods joins Thai Airways to expand the success of the ‘Streets to Sky’ project

Dusit Foods Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Dusit International—one of Thailand’s leading hotel and property development companies—has announced the expansion of its collaboration with Thai Airways International Public Company Limited to further strengthen the success of the ‘Streets to Sky’ inflight dining initiative.

Launched in August 2024, the pioneering project marked a first-of-its-kind partnership that brought Thailand’s most beloved street food dishes—curated through the Pinto Hub platform—onboard Thai Airways’ international Economy Class flights. Pinto Hub is a culinary innovation platform co-created by Dusit Foods and Farm to Plate Processor Co., Ltd. (F2P). The initiative received overwhelmingly positive feedback from travelers, prompting the introduction of four new dishes to highlight even more of Thailand’s rich culinary diversity.

✈️ New ‘Streets to Sky’ Inflight Dishes Now Available:

  • Chicken Gravy with Rice from Jeib Rod Dee Ded — a 50-year-old Bangkok eatery known for its iconic beef and chicken rice.
  • Duck Noodles from Xia Noodle — a beloved Bang Rak street vendor famous for its tender duck and flavorful soup.
  • Hokkien Stir-Fried Noodles with Seafood from Krua Jongjit — a bold and savory Phuket-style noodle specialty.
  • Choo-Chee Fish Curry from Baan Yeesarn — a sweet and spicy traditional Thai curry crafted by Chef Tukta.

These new offerings complement the original menus introduced at the project’s launch:

  • Massaman Chicken and Basil Chicken with Fried Egg from Baan Yeesarn Thai Cuisine
  • Crispy Noodles with Chicken Gravy from Namthien by Khanta
  • Khao Soi Chicken from Khao Soi Lamduan Fa Ham, a legendary Chiang Mai restaurant

The Streets to Sky initiative is part of Thai Airways’ broader mission to elevate Thai cuisine as a global soft power, building on the success of its earlier Taste of Thai Tales program, which brought refined regional Thai dishes to its premium cabins. With Dusit Foods now extending this culinary journey to Economy Class, Thai street food culture is more accessible than ever to travelers from around the world.

🥢 Promoting Thai Culinary Heritage on a Global Stage

This collaboration underscores Dusit Foods’ mission to “Bring Asian Food to the World” by leveraging food as a cultural ambassador. Through the Pinto Hub platform, the company connects diners with authentic street food recipes from small and medium-sized Thai eateries—many of which lack the scale to reach broader audiences, despite offering unique flavors and deep-rooted culinary heritage.

“We remain committed to our vision of bringing Asian food to the world,” said Ms. Manisa Mitpaibul, Managing Director of Dusit Foods. “This partnership with Thai Airways allows us to feature signature dishes from Thailand’s most iconic local restaurants onboard international flights, giving travelers a genuine taste of street food culture with every meal.”

Each dish is carefully crafted to maintain its original taste and essence, allowing passengers to enjoy the authenticity and heart of Thailand’s local dining experiences—even at 30,000 feet.

🌾 A Project with Social Impact

Beyond promoting Thai cuisine, Streets to Sky also contributes to the local economy. The project integrates high-quality ingredients from Thai farmers, supporting livelihoods across the supply chain and creating meaningful opportunities for small food businesses and agricultural communities.

“Streets to Sky is a deeply meaningful project for us,” Ms. Mitpaibul added. “It blends Thai culinary pride with tangible social impact—supporting SMEs, empowering farmers, and sharing the soul of Thai street food with the world.”
