Dalaga Na Si Maxie Oliveros: A Drag Musical Extravaganza brings the beloved queer icon back to center stage in an electrifying, immersive theatrical experience happening from June 13 to 22, 2025, at Illumination Studio, Makati City.
Just in time for Pride Month, this dazzling sequel picks up five years after Maxie the Musical. Now a young woman navigating love, identity, and self-worth, Maxie’s journey continues in a world still struggling to embrace her full brilliance. Filled with sparkle, heartbreak, and fearless spirit, her story invites audiences to step right into her fabulously complex world.
But this is no ordinary sequel. Dalaga Na Si Maxie Oliveros blurs the lines between audience and performance with an intimate, interactive staging that turns every corner of the theater into part of the story. Half drag show, half musical, all heart—this one-of-a-kind production is a vibrant celebration of queer joy, survival, and transformation.
Rooted in the legacy of Ang Pagdadalaga ni Maximo Oliveros (2005), the groundbreaking film that first introduced Maxie to the world, and Maxie the Musical (2013), the critically acclaimed stage adaptation, this new chapter is produced under special arrangement with the original filmmakers and Ticket2Me, and line produced by PETA Plus.
