Motorsport history and live spectacle are about to collide. Disney+ Philippines and Red Bull have announced “Max vs 100,” an unprecedented live motorsport event where four-time Formula 1® World Champion Max Verstappen will start from the back of the grid and attempt to overtake 100 drivers at Silverstone.
Streaming live on Disney+ Philippines at 12:00 AM on September 17, the global event pits one of the world’s greatest racing drivers against an eclectic field of athletes, streamers, and personalities in one of the largest go-kart races ever staged.
The Grid: 101 Karts, One Iconic Track
Recreating the high-stakes format that forged Verstappen’s race craft in his youth—starting last and fighting through traffic—the event tests whether pure skill can overcome overwhelming numbers.
To host all 101 karts simultaneously, former youth karting world champion and renowned designer David Terrien has built a custom circuit directly at Silverstone.
The 100 competitors lining up against Verstappen represent a cross-section of global sport, internet culture, and entertainment:
- Red Bull Athletes: Ultrarunner Arda Saatçi, basketball shooting specialist Chris “Lethal Shooter” Matthews, and freestyle mountain biker Matt Jones.
- Top Streamers & Creators: Global gaming personalities TheGrefg, Caedrel, and TheDonato, alongside invited fans and media personalities.
