The NBA is officially coming to Disney+ Philippines through a new multi-year agreement announced today, expanding The Walt Disney Company and ESPN’s long-standing global partnership with the league. This marks the first time Filipino fans can stream live NBA action directly on Disney+, bringing them closer than ever to the world’s biggest basketball stage.
Under this landmark deal, basketball fans across the Philippines will enjoy special access to live NBA games, ESPN’s award-winning documentaries, and live broadcasts of NBA Countdown. Fans will also hear from iconic voices such as Shaquille O’Neal, Ernie Johnson, Kenny Smith, and Charles Barkley through NBA Tip-Off and the Emmy Award-winning Inside the NBA.
The action begins on Thursday, November 20 (Philippine Standard Time) with a thrilling NBA doubleheader:
- Houston Rockets vs. Cleveland Cavaliers at 0800H
- New York Knicks vs. Dallas Mavericks at 1030H
Starting then, Disney+ subscribers can stream select regular season, playoff games, and major NBA events—including NBA on Christmas Day, NBA Draft, NBA All-Star Celebrity Game, and select NBA Summer League matchups. Each NBA season, one NBA Conference Finals series will be streamed live, while the other Conference Finals and the NBA Finals will be available on a delayed basis.
