The League of Corporate Foundations (LCF) is gearing up to host the 2025 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Conference and Expo from July 1 to 3, with events taking place at Dusit Thani Manila and Glorietta Activity Center in Makati City. This year’s theme, “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusivity for Shared Prosperity,” puts a strong focus on how DEI values can shape more sustainable, inclusive, and purpose-driven business practices.
The 2025 CSR Conference and Expo serves as the culminating event of CSR Week, a nationwide celebration of corporate citizenship and social good, and will bring together corporate leaders, government officials, civil society representatives, and grassroots partners to foster dialogue, collaboration, and meaningful action.
Elevating CSR Through DEI
Attendees can expect an engaging lineup of keynote speeches, panel discussions, interactive exhibits, and networking opportunities. Topics will explore how DEI principles can be integrated into areas such as:
- Leadership and organizational culture
- Inclusive education and mental health
- Financial and digital inclusion
- Urban development and climate resilience
- Creative industries and informal economies
Key sessions include a keynote address by Senator Risa Hontiveros, Chair of the Senate Committee on Women, Children, Family Relations and Gender Equality, titled “Shared Prosperity, Shared Responsibility: The DEI Mandate in Nation-Building.” Acclaimed journalist Karen Davila, UN Women National Goodwill Ambassador, will deliver the closing remarks.
“This event provides a platform for companies of all sizes to engage in important conversations, share innovative solutions, and champion inclusive change,” said Shem Jose Garcia, LCF Chairperson and Executive Director of Vivant Foundation. “It’s about promoting fairness and equity, but also about driving innovation through intentional inclusion—of women, persons with disabilities, indigenous peoples, senior citizens, the LGBTQIA+ community, and people from diverse backgrounds.”
Recognizing Excellence: 2025 LCF Guild Awards and Medal of Recognition
The conference will also host the 2025 LCF Guild Awards, recognizing outstanding CSR initiatives by member organizations that have created significant, positive impact in communities. In addition, the LCF Medal of Recognition will be presented to non-member organizations demonstrating excellence in areas such as:
- Education and Financial Inclusion
- Arts and Culture
- Disaster Resilience and Health
- Environment and Enterprise Development
“These awards reflect the growing maturity and impact of CSR in the Philippines,” said Jonathan Batangan, Executive Director of Cebuana Lhuillier Foundation. “They are a testament to how purpose-driven programs can empower lives and transform communities.”
Spotlight on the LIFE Program
One of the key features of the CSR Expo is an update on LIFE (LCF’s Initiative for Food Security, Nutrition, and Empowerment). This multi-stakeholder initiative, aligned with the Philippine Plan of Action for Nutrition (PPAN), aims to combat child malnutrition by providing:
- Nutrition support
- Livelihood training
- Tools and facilities
- Local capacity-building
The program is currently being implemented in Basilan, in collaboration with the provincial government and various partners.

A Call to Action for Purpose-Driven Growth
More than just an event, the 2025 CSR Conference and Expo is a rallying point for the business sector to embrace inclusive leadership, amplify their social impact, and co-create an equitable future for all Filipinos.
The event is co-presented by Cebuana Lhuillier Foundation, Inc., and co-organized with Metro Pacific Investments Foundation and the SM, Henry Sy, and Felicidad T.
