Citadines Manila 7 Years and Holiday Celebration (Pasko 2025)_1

The passionate team behind the award-winning serviced residence has been providing world-class services for both business and leisure travellers at the heart of the bustling Entertainment City since 2018.

Citadines Bay City Manila ushered in the holiday season with a Christmas tree lighting ceremony centered on togetherness, gratitude, and giving back. The celebration marked several meaningful milestones for the award-winning serviced residence—from welcoming the most festive time of the year, to commemorating its 7th anniversary, and honoring a remarkable run of recognitions earned in 2025.

Since opening in 2018, Citadines Bay City Manila has delivered world-class, heartfelt service to both business and leisure travelers at the heart of Entertainment City. During the ceremony, the property proudly reflected on seven years of successful operations and its latest accolades. Leading global travel platform TripAdvisor named Citadines Bay City Manila the No. 1 Hotel in Pasay City, while its all-day dining outlet, Bay City Café, ranked third among 512 restaurants in the area. The property was also honored with the “Excellence in Tourism – Hotel/B&B Category” award at the Global Tourism Excellence Awards 2025.

Beyond its achievements, Citadines Bay City Manila continues to champion community involvement, embracing the true spirit of the season through meaningful advocacy and outreach. This year, the property reinforced its commitment to youth development through education, wellness, and skills training by partnering with GEN4Juan Cares Inc., a non-government organization dedicated to uplifting communities through initiatives focused on the church, environment, youth, and elderly sectors.

As part of the collaboration, Citadines Bay City Manila and GEN4Juan created handcrafted Christmas ornaments, with proceeds benefiting the KaJuan Training Center. Guests at the tree lighting ceremony were invited to support the cause by purchasing the ornaments and hanging them on the property’s Christmas tree—transforming the centerpiece into a symbol of shared purpose and generosity.

The event was attended by executives from The Ascott Limited Philippines, including Country General Manager Patrick Vaysse; Cluster General Manager and General Manager of Ascott Bonifacio Global City and Citadines Bay City Manila Rennan John Reyes; Director of Revenue Management Jenna San Diego; and Somerset Gorordo Cebu General Manager Gwen Contreras. Also present were guests of honor Peter Pardo, Chief of Staff of the Pasay City Government and Chairperson and Executive Director of GEN4Juan Cares Inc., and Adrian Reyes, Vice Chairperson and Finance Director of GEN4Juan Cares Inc., alongside media partners, corporate collaborators, loyal guests, and members of the community.

The evening unfolded with a festive toast celebrating both the holidays and the property’s 7th anniversary, followed by a countdown to the lighting of the Christmas tree led by Ascott Philippines executives. A heartwarming performance by the Mandaluyong Children’s Choir set the tone for the night, after which guests enjoyed a holiday buffet featuring Citadines’ culinary favorites. The program continued with a presentation by GEN4Juan Cares Inc. on their advocacy, culminating in a raffle draw that capped off the celebration.
