The Free Fire World Series (FFWS) Global Finals 2025 concluded in spectacular fashion at the Indonesia Arena, Jakarta on November 15, with Buriram United Esports rising as the new Free Fire world champion. Overcoming 11 elite teams in the Battle Royale Grand Final, the Thai squad showcased unmatched skill, strategy, and composure to claim the coveted title.
Led by BRU.GETHIGH, BRU.WASSANA, BRU.JOENA, BRU.MOSHI, and BRU.THECRUZ, Buriram United dominated across 7 intense matches. Standout player BRU.Wassana earned both the Grand Finals Most Valuable Player (FMVP) and Predator awards, contributing 22 eliminations and 13 assists throughout the finals.
Thailand’s dominance continued in the Clash Squad Grand Final on November 14, where All Gamers Global secured victory, marking a memorable year for Thai esports on the global stage.

The 2025 season of FFWS also made history: Free Fire was officially awarded the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title for the Largest Mobile Team-Based Esports Tournament.
A staggering 618,778 players participated in official tournaments worldwide, starting from local qualifiers across Southeast Asia, South Asia, Latin America, Brazil, and the Middle East & Africa, progressing through competitive regional leagues. A Spectacle of Esports and Culture
The FFWS Global Finals 2025 Opening Ceremony lit up the Indonesia Arena with electrifying performances from Warren Hue, Weird Genius, JKT48, and Mick Gordon. The event received strong support from Indonesia’s Ministry of Youth & Sports, Ministry of Creative Economy, DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, and Indonesia Esports Federation (PBESI), solidifying the nation’s status as a rising hub for international esports.
Free Fire x Jujutsu Kaisen: Coming January 2026
Fans were treated to an exclusive collaboration announcement with the hit anime Jujutsu Kaisen during the Battle Royale Grand Final. Launching in January 2026, the crossover will let players step into the shoes of Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki, and Satoru Gojo, complete with iconic skill effects and exclusive character bundles.
