Event celebrates the launch of NBA on Prime

Prime Video officially launched NBA on Prime Video in the Philippines with an exclusive “From Streets to Stream” Watch Party, celebrating its partnership with the NBA and the start of live NBA coverage on the platform.

Held on October 25 at Monarch Manila, the event brought together media, influencers, celebrity basketball fans, and local personalities for a first-hand viewing experience of the NBA season opener. Guests watched thrilling matchups live on Prime Video, including the Boston Celtics vs. New York Knicks and Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Los Angeles Lakers. The broadcast began at 7:00 a.m. PH time with the NBA on Prime pregame show, live from the newly launched NBA on Prime Studio at Amazon MGM Studios in Culver City, California.

The watch party embraced the theme “From Streets to Stream,” highlighting basketball’s ability to unite communities—from local courts to a global streaming stage. Attendees enjoyed street-style food, interactive basketball activities, and a vibrant setup demonstrating how Prime Video brings Filipino fans closer to the sport they love.

Filipino viewers can now enjoy NBA games with Prime Video’s innovative features:

  • Rapid Recap – An AI-powered highlight reel brings fans who join late up to speed in under two minutes before seamlessly returning to live action.
  • Integrated Stats – Real-time stats and advanced analytics are available during live games, including player and team box scores, game leaders, and conference standings.
  • Multi-View – Watch up to four games simultaneously on select devices such as Fire TV, Apple TV, and mobile devices.

All NBA on Prime games—including 66 regular season games, the Emirates NBA Cup, Conference Finals, and the 2026 NBA Finals—are available at no extra cost to Prime members. Fans can stream live and on-demand games, along with exclusive NBA programming from the NBA on Prime Studio, anytime and anywhere via the Prime Video app.

NBA on Prime Video is available in the Philippines for just ₱149/month, giving basketball fans a front-row seat to every slam dunk, buzzer-beater, and highlight play.
