“Idol Kids Philippines” has crowned its very first grand winner, with nine-year-old Alexa Mendoza from Laguna taking home the title in the Final Showdown held on Sunday (September 28).
With a remarkable 98.88% combined score from public votes and judges, Alexa wowed both the crowd and panel with her heartfelt original song “Maaabot Ko” and a stunning rendition of the Eraserheads classic “Ang Huling El Bimbo.” Her victory comes with an exclusive recording contract under StarPop and a cash prize of over ₱1 million.

The finale also showcased the artistry of the Top 3 kiddie hopefuls, with Klied performing “Pakinggan Mo” and Quinn debuting “Dalangin”—all produced by acclaimed hitmaker Jonathan Manalo. Fans can catch the in-studio lyric videos on the ABS-CBN Star Music YouTube channel, while the official EP drops on all streaming platforms this October 3.

Bringing extra energy to the grand stage were “It’s Showtime” hosts Jhong Hilario and Vhong Navarro, who delivered electrifying performances that kept the audience on their feet.
