Acer successfully held its inaugural Acer Edu Summit Asia Pacific 2025, a two-day event from May 7 to 8 at the Renaissance Bangkok Ratchaprasong Hotel in Thailand. Centered on the theme “Shaping Tomorrow: AI and Digital Technologies in Education,” the summit gathered delegates from across the Asia-Pacific region—including the Philippines, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Australia, South Korea, India, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Taiwan—to explore the evolving impact of artificial intelligence and digitalization in education.

As AI continues to reshape the educational landscape, the summit served as a collaborative platform for educators, policymakers, and tech leaders to exchange practical strategies for integrating next-generation technologies into the classroom. The event emphasized promoting digital literacy, rethinking teaching methods, and preparing students for a tech-driven world.

“Acer created this summit as a catalyst for innovation. Digitalization has proven its potential to enrich, complement, and even transform education,” said Andrew Hou, President of Acer Pan Asia Pacific.

Throughout the summit, Acer showcased its AI-powered ecosystem—a suite of devices and EdTech solutions designed to improve learning experiences, support teachers, and simplify school administration.

Interactive booths by Intel, Windows, and Google added hands-on insights into emerging tools, while Aopen, SpatialLabs, and Predator Gaming demonstrated how esports and immersive technologies can be harnessed for educational purposes.

A major highlight was the unveiling of Altos’ latest AI server platforms—pushing the limits of computing for education, enterprise, and research:

  • Altos BrainSphere™ R680 F7 – A powerful system supporting up to eight NVIDIA RTX™ 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs, engineered for compute-heavy, graphics-intensive, and AI-powered workloads.
  • Altos BrainSphere™ R880 F7 – A next-gen HGX-based platform optimized for LLM training and Generative AI, featuring the NVIDIA B200 Blackwell Ultra GPU. It offers energy efficiency and exceptional computing power, ideal for institutions driving AI research and innovation.

“The Acer Edu Summit Asia Pacific 2025 reinforces Acer’s commitment to empowering educators and students with the digital tools they need not just for today, but for the future,” Hou added.
