ABS-CBN’s Hit YouTube Series ‘ZOOMERS’ Returns for Season 2, Garnering Millions of Views

The beloved Gen Z loveteam of Harvey Bautista and Criza Taa is set to reignite the “kilig” factor as ABS-CBN’s highly popular Made For YouTube youth-oriented series, “Zoomers,” gears up for its second season. Following its initial run that amassed 4.2 million views, anticipation is high for what lies ahead.

“Zoomers” became a social media sensation thanks to its reality-based approach, allowing audiences to delve deeper into the lives of its cast members and empathize with the struggles of their Gen Z personas.

Harvey, whose on-screen chemistry with Criza captured hearts, expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support they’ve received. “Neither Criza nor I expected this. We were overwhelmed by the positive feedback from viewers. It’s humbling yet incredibly gratifying to see our pairing resonate with audiences,” he shared.

Ralph De Leon reflected on how the series encouraged them to embrace authenticity while portraying their characters, while Krystl expressed joy over the enthusiastic response to her and Kei Kurosawa’s partnership.

In its upcoming season, “Zoomers” will continue to chronicle the adventures of Jiggs (Harvey), Hope (Criza), Atom (Ralph), Tanya (Krystl), and Kokoy (Luke Alford) as they navigate their final summer together before college. Expect unexpected twists and tests of friendship as they confront challenges as a tight-knit group.

Throughout its first season, “Zoomers” earned acclaim for tackling issues relevant to many Gen Z individuals, including drugs, bullying, mental health, and bisexuality. Moreover, the audition process undertaken by the cast members served as inspiration for aspiring artists.

Under RCD Narratives, “Zoomers” will introduce Kapamilya teen artists Zabel Lamberth, Hadiyah Santos, Luis, Vera Perez, Erika Davis, Kei Kurosawa, and Zach Castañeda. Directed by Kevin Alambra, with Theodore Boborol as creative producer and head writer Carmela Abaygar, along with episode writers Carol Navarro and Airic Diestro, the series’ first season was helmed by Chad Vidanes, now serving as a line producer for the upcoming season.
