At a pivotal moment for Filipino music on the global stage, ABS-CBN unveils a bold new initiative: a joint venture between ABS-CBN Music and ABS-CBN Global, giving rise to ABS-CBN Music International (AMI)—a strategic expansion designed to amplify Filipino talent worldwide while reconnecting global voices to their roots.

The launch comes on the heels of a defining breakthrough for OPM, led by BINI, whose highly anticipated debut at Coachella captured global attention and signaled a new era for Filipino music in the international mainstream.

“We’re just grateful to be part of this movement,” shared Jhoanna Robles. “We hope we can open more doors for Filipino artists—for our music and our stories to be seen and heard all around the world.”

For decades, ABS-CBN has played a defining role in shaping the Philippine music landscape through its labels, including Star Music, Star Pop, and Tarsier Records. With AMI, the company takes that legacy beyond borders—bringing its expertise into the global arena while fostering collaboration and cultural exchange across markets.

ABS-CBN Music International is built on a dual mission: to elevate Filipino music onto the world stage and to discover and amplify global talent within the Filipino cultural space. By leveraging ABS-CBN’s international footprint, AMI aims to establish a cross-border pipeline that connects artists, content, and audiences worldwide.

“Filipino music is no longer emerging—it’s here,” said Jun del Rosario. “AMI allows us to scale that momentum, connecting our artists to global audiences while bringing diverse voices into the Filipino experience.”

“We’re building a platform where Filipino artists can stand alongside the best in the world,” added Roxy Liquigan. “This is about visibility, collaboration, and cultural impact at a global level.”

Leading its first wave of talent, AMI introduces artists such as JMKO and Acoya, while also expanding the global reach of ABS-CBN Music’s roster, including BINI, BGYO, Maki, and Maymay Entrata.

Backed by decades of storytelling and a deep connection to Filipino communities around the world, ABS-CBN Music International is poised to bridge cultures, amplify voices, and create new pathways for Filipino artists—wherever they are—to be discovered, celebrated, and heard on a global scale.
