Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla Cement Legacy with Major 2026 Dekada Awards Wins
ABS-CBN Films and its stellar lineup of actors dominated the 2026 Dekada Awards, taking home multiple major trophies at the event hosted by the Multi-Media Press Society of the Philippines.
The Golden Screen Awards’ Dekada Awards honors the most impactful cinematic achievements and creative breakthroughs that have shaped local cinema over the last ten years.
Star Cinema was recognized as one of the country’s Outstanding Film Productions for its massive contributions to the local movie industry. ABS-CBN Films head Kriz Gazmen personally accepted the prestigious trophy on behalf of the studio.
The network’s top caliber actresses led the night’s historic wins in the acting categories:
• Charo Santos-Concio secured a Best Actress win for her powerful performance in the 2021 acclaimed drama Kun Maupay Man It Panahon.
• Kathryn Bernardo took home a Best Actress trophy for the 2018 box-office smash hit The Hows of Us.
• Vilma Santos, the legendary “Star for All Seasons,” won Best Actress for her performance in the 2016 film Everything About Her.
• Charlie Dizon earned the same Best Actress honor for her role in the 2023 film Third World Romance.
In the male acting categories, the network’s leading men also clinched top honors:
• Daniel Padilla was awarded Best Actor for his romantic drama Barcelona: A Love Untold (2016).
• Aga Muhlach claimed the Best Actor title for his heartbreaking role in the 2017 family drama Seven Sundays.
