Over 6,000 runners showed up for the final leg of the EastWest Dream Run 2025 in Filinvest City, Alabang. But among the sea of athletes chasing goals and personal bests, it was a little French Bulldog named Liit who stole the spotlight—rolling through the 1K Dog Category with courage and charm on four tiny wheels.

Liit, short for “maliit,” is a Pet With Disability (PWD) who lost the use of her hind legs. But with a custom wheelchair and a tail that never stops wagging, she proved that dreams roll just as well as they run. Side by side with her EastWestbanker fur parent, Liit reminded the crowd that no dream is too big—and no dog too small—to make a difference.
“Liit may be small, but her dreams are anything but,” her owner shared. “Being a PWD dog doesn’t stop her from doing what she loves. The Dream Run was our way of showing the world that she belongs, just like any other runner.”

The crowd cheered as Liit cruised down the route, her joyful energy turning heads and warming hearts. She quickly became a fan favorite—not for finishing the fastest, but for showing what true grit looks like.
The EastWest Dream Run 2025, held in celebration of EastWest’s 30th anniversary and Filinvest’s 70th, brought together runners of all ages and even four-legged friends. From the intense 30KM Dream Challenge to the fun and inclusive dog run, the event embodied community, courage, and connection.
And while many crossed the finish line with pride, it was Liit’s brave roll forward that left the biggest impression. She may not have finished first, but she finished with purpose—proving that it’s not about how you move, but that you keep moving.
