The well-loved pharmaceutical company partners with Caritas Manila to reach out to more sectors in need

Pascual Laboratories, Inc. (PascualLab), one of the Philippines’ top-of-mind pharmaceutical companies¹, continues its 80th anniversary celebration by returning to its roots of supporting the health and wellness needs of Filipinos. This time, the company is strengthening its commitment through a meaningful partnership with Caritas Manila.

Founded in 1946 by Leonora and Isosceles Pascual, PascualLab began with a mission to address Vitamin C deficiencies and provide relief for tuberculosis patients during the post-war period. Eight decades later, the Filipino pharmaceutical company has expanded its product portfolio to meet the evolving health and wellness needs of Filipinos, offering solutions for food supplementation, cough relief, and oral health.

Through its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative, Sowing to Empower, Educate, and Develop (S.E.E.D.), PascualLab continues to champion the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including equal access to healthcare opportunities for all. In 2026, the company is joining forces with Caritas Manila, the Catholic Church’s social welfare arm, to advance SDG 3 – Good Health and Well-Being – and SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals.

With the extensive network and logistical support of Caritas Manila, PascualLab aims to reach more underprivileged communities and other sectors in need by providing essential health and wellness products. These include Ascorbic Acid (Poten-Cee) for adults and children, Vitex Negundo L. Lagundi Leaf, C-Lium Fibre Food Supplement, and OraCare Mouthrinse.

As part of the initiative, PascualLab partnered with Caritas Manila this October to provide free medical consultations and cough relief to 90 members of Asilo de San Vicente de Paul, one of Caritas Manila’s partner communities in Manila. The activity also brought together PascualLab employees, who volunteered their time and services to support the beneficiaries. During the same event, PascualLab and Caritas Manila officially formalized their collaboration through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA).

Extending its 80th anniversary celebration to members of the media who have supported the company throughout the years, PascualLab also shared its commitment to giving back by donating ₱16,558 worth of Ascof Lagundi Ponkan to children in need on behalf of each participating media partner.

Through these initiatives, PascualLab reinforces its longstanding mission of making accessible health and wellness solutions available to more Filipinos while celebrating eight decades of service, compassion, and commitment to healthier communities.
