The Sound of Solitude in a Trio

An early 20th-century guitar can tell stories that extend far beyond its history. In Variantes de Soledad, Trio Amistad brings three remarkable vintage instruments to the Santuario della Consolazione in Deliceto, Italy, creating a musical dialogue that blends contemporary composition, Mediterranean influences, and improvisation. More than simply serving as a recording venue, the sanctuary’s distinctive acoustics become an integral part of the experience, allowing the spaces and silences between notes to contribute to the conversation among the guitars.

For guitarists Daniele Sardone, Luigi Staffieri, and Danilo Delli Carri, the nine-track album, with a total running time of 50 minutes and 11 seconds, explores the balance between individual musical expression and the art of listening and responding to one another. Musicforgestudio is set to release the album digitally and on CD on November 27, 2026. Ahead of its arrival, the first single, “Sensazione,” will be released on November 20, 2026, offering listeners an initial glimpse into the project.

THE SINGLE AHEAD OF THE ALBUM · SENSazione

“Sensazione” provides the first introduction to Trio Amistad’s musical conversation, capturing the intimate atmosphere and distinctive sound of the forthcoming album. With a running time of 4 minutes and 3 seconds, the single offers a preview of the trio’s artistic direction ahead of its scheduled release on November 20, one week before Variantes de Soledad arrives.

THE PROJECT

Three Guitars and the Sound of a Place: Inside Variantes de Soledad

Despite its title, Variantes de Soledad is an album deeply rooted in connection and collaboration. Trio Amistad brings three historical guitars into dialogue with the natural resonance of the Santuario della Consolazione in Deliceto, Italy. Through contemporary compositions, Mediterranean musical influences, and improvisation, the recording explores the relationship between musicians, instruments, and the surrounding space.

Each guitarist performs on a distinguished historical instrument: Daniele Sardone plays a 1924 Santos Hernández guitar, Luigi Staffieri performs on a 1912 José Ramírez, while Danilo Delli Carri plays a 1935 Domingo Esteso. With more than 90 years of history behind them, these instruments become the voices of a contemporary musical project featuring nine tracks and a total running time of 50:11.

Musicforgestudio will release Variantes de Soledad digitally and on CD on November 27, 2026, preceded by the single “Sensazione” on November 20, 2026.

At the heart of the recording is the idea that listening is just as important as performing. As the three guitar voices interact, the sanctuary’s acoustics highlight the collective character of the music, transforming the surrounding space into an essential part of the composition.

The project features Antonio Mazzeo on sound, Marica Fattore for graphic design and photography, and Antonio Lambresa for executive production and art direction.
