POCO Officially Launches POCO X8 and X8s in the Philippines

Manila, Philippines — Global technology brand POCO has officially introduced the POCO X8s to the Philippine market, marking the newest entry in its performance-driven POCO X Pro Series. Engineered as a highly capable, compact all-rounder, the smartphone packs a flagship-grade display, a versatile camera system, long-lasting battery life, and snappy performance into a streamlined body optimized for effortless, one-handed operation.

Sleek, Lightweight Design Paired with a Vivid Display

With a slim profile measuring just 8.06mm thick and a lightweight body of 187g,¹ the POCO X8s blends everyday utility with a highly portable, ergonomic design. Its micro-curved aluminum frame and glass back ensure a smooth, comfortable grip, while the color-matched camera module offers a clean, seamless aesthetic. The smartphone is available in blue, white, and black, with the black variant showcasing a unique black-and-silver dual-tone finish.²

The device features a 6.35-inch 1.5K AMOLED display framed by ultra-narrow 1.18mm bezels.¹ Utilizing an advanced M10 panel, it hits a multi-scenario peak brightness of up to 3,500 nits, ensuring excellent visibility even under direct sunlight. To maximize efficiency, POCO’s innovative 1–120Hz Adaptive refresh rate Pro dynamically scales the refresh rate to keep animations fluid while curbing power consumption. The display is rounded out by triple TÜV Rheinland eye-care certifications to reduce eye strain during extended use, alongside a fast, reliable ultrasonic fingerprint scanner that supports wet-touch unlocking and seamless press-and-slide setup.

Versatile Triple-Camera System for Every Focal Length

The POCO X8s comes equipped with a flexible triple-camera configuration engineered to shoot everything from sweeping vistas to intimate close-ups. The primary shooter utilizes a high-resolution 50MP Light Fusion 800 image sensor bolstered by Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), delivering crisp, blur-free shots. Accompanying the main lens is a 50MP 2.5x telephoto camera for detailed portraits and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor for expansive framing. Furthermore, the Live Moment feature supports video capture up to 1080p, preserving movement with sharper clarity and richer detail.

Sustained Performance and Long-Lasting Battery Power

Under the hood, the POCO X8s is driven by the Snapdragon® 7 Gen 4 Mobile Platform, delivering highly responsive performance for fast app launches, smooth multitasking, and everyday entertainment. To ensure the device runs efficiently under heavy workloads, the built-in POCO 3D IceLoop cooling system keeps thermal temperatures in check, preventing overheating and maintaining sustained performance over time.

Despite its compact, one-handed form factor, the smartphone manages to house a massive 6,330mAh (typ) battery utilizing an advanced 16% silicon-carbon material composition. When it is time to top up, 100W HyperCharge technology provides incredibly fast charging speeds,³ while a practical 22.5W reverse charging feature allows the phone to double as a power bank to juice up other compatible gadgets on the go.⁴

Built to withstand everyday wear and tear, the POCO X8s comes with an IP68 dust and water resistance rating, offering robust protection against accidental splashes and environment exposure.⁵ Finally, the device features premium dual stereo speakers, rounding out the user experience with rich, immersive audio.
