Rol3ert Announces Debut Album and Manila & Jakarta Shows

Japanese singer-songwriter Rol3ert officially released his debut full-length album, ‘meet me in my head,’ today, October 21. Featuring 14 tracks written and performed in both Japanese and English, the album transforms the emotions, experiences, and personal values he has carried into his 20th year into a collection of music that reflects his artistic journey.

The album brings together fan-favourite tracks such as “meaning,” “savior,” “Boy,” “Kodoku,” and “HOPE,” alongside new material, including the focus track “i won’t see you anymore.” It also features the previously released single “With you,” a collaboration with Malaysian singer-songwriter and producer Johnson, marking Rol3ert’s first recorded collaboration with a Southeast Asian artist.

STREAM ‘meet me in my head’

The album release also signals an exciting new chapter for Rol3ert as he brings his music closer to Southeast Asian audiences. From October 28 to November 1, the singer-songwriter will visit Indonesia and the Philippines, marking his first-ever performances in both countries.

In Indonesia, Rol3ert will make his debut live appearance on Wednesday, October 28, through the Rol3ert ‘meet me in my head’ Showcase & Fan Meet at Houma Jakarta, Gunawarman. Doors open at 18:30 WIB, with the event running from 19:00 to 20:30 WIB.

During the showcase, fans can look forward to live performances of tracks from the new album, insights into the stories behind the songs, and an opportunity to meet Rol3ert in person after the show. Admission is free, dinner is included, and attendees will also have the chance to win merchandise. However, seats are limited, and advance RSVP is required.

RSVP TO THE JAKARTA SHOWCASE

Following his Indonesian appearance, Rol3ert will arrive in Manila on Friday, October 30, for promotional activities. The following day, Saturday, October 31, he will take the stage at the After Dark Halloween Party at the 4th-floor Garden of TriNoma Mall in Quezon City, marking his first-ever live performance in the Philippines.

The show begins at 19:00 PHT, with free admission for fans. Adding to the Halloween festivities, attendees are encouraged to dress up as their favourite creatures from Filipino folklore, bringing local mythical characters and supernatural traditions into the celebration.

After his Southeast Asian appearances, Rol3ert will return to Japan for two headline performances under his Live Tour 2026 ‘meet me in my head.’ The tour will visit BIGCAT in Osaka on November 6 and Spotify O-EAST in Tokyo on November 12. Both shows will feature full band arrangements, which Rol3ert says will deliver an entirely different experience from his previous performances with a band.

On the production side, ‘meet me in my head’ was mastered by Mike Bozzi of Bernie Grundman Mastering, whose notable credits include Childish Gambino’s “This Is America.” The album also brings together an impressive lineup of producers, including Taka Perry, MONJOE, ESME MORI, Michael Kaneko, Yuto Uchino (The fin.), and JUNE.

In addition to its digital release, the album marks Rol3ert’s first-ever release on CD, giving fans another way to experience his debut full-length project.

Meanwhile, “With you,” his collaboration with Johnson, was written during SONG BRIDGE 2025, a songwriting camp held in Kyoto in May 2025 as part of the MUSIC WAY PROJECT. The track is the first international collaboration to emerge from the songwriting initiative.

Its accompanying music video, featuring Johnson, was filmed in Singapore in May 2026 with the support of a local production team, further highlighting the creative connection between Japanese and Southeast Asian artists.
