“I’ve always loved singing and dancing, so making a song like this feels very natural to me,” says Estelle. “I love the club songs from Rihanna and Kesha that we used to get ready and go out to, and I still listen to them now. I wanted to make something that gives me that same excitement, and let myself have a bit more fun with my music.”
The track’s carefree energy peaks during a highly infectious chorus made for listeners to sing along with, boasting a playful, slightly bratty attitude. “I wanted that feeling where you might be quite shy normally, but once this song comes on, suddenly the world disappears and the dance floor is yours,” she says.

“We spend so much time trying to have everything together. Sometimes you need to sing too loudly, dance with your friends and remember that you’re allowed to have fun even when life is complicated.”
