TRENTAHIN HALLOWEEN 2026 | THE FUN ROOF, POBLACION, MAKATI
Remember when Halloween meant staying up late to watch Filipino horror movies, getting spooked by Shake, Rattle & Roll, and waiting for the next chilling story on Magandang Gabi… Bayan? When the music of the ’90s and early 2000s could fill a room, and a night out with friends could become a memory that lasted for years?
This Halloween, those memories are coming back—with a little more horror, a lot more nostalgia, and a party designed for a generation that has grown up but isn’t quite ready to call it a night.
On Saturday, October 31, 2026, TRENTAHIN brings its first-ever Halloween edition to The Fun Roof in Poblacion, Makati, inviting millennials in their 30s and 40s to revisit the sounds, scares, and shared experiences that shaped their younger years.
The theme says it all: “Your Childhood Nightmares Are Back.”
But don’t expect to spend the evening hiding under a blanket. This is Halloween for grown-ups who still know how to have fun.
Childhood nightmares, grown-up party energy
Inspired by Filipino horror classics such as Shake, Rattle & Roll and the unforgettable Halloween specials of Magandang Gabi… Bayan, TRENTAHIN Halloween takes nostalgia beyond a playlist. It’s an invitation to revisit the characters, stories, and childhood scares that once made the lights-out moments a little more frightening.
Guests are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes, especially looks inspired by the horror films and television specials they remember from the ’90s.
Think familiar Filipino horror, retro television memories, and the kind of costume that makes your friends say, “Naalala mo pa ’yan?”
Then comes the soundtrack.
Headlining the celebration is DJ Mars Miranda, a veteran of Manila’s 2000s nightlife scene who has been active since 2001. Known for his connections to iconic venues such as Temple and Republiq, Miranda brings a musical link to the hip-hop and R&B sounds that defined an era of Manila nightlife.
Expect throwback hits, party anthems, OPM, early electronic dance music, and sing-alongs that could turn an ordinary night into a reunion of sorts.
Because sometimes, the best part of growing older is discovering that the songs you loved decades ago can still get everyone on their feet.
The party that understands your 30s
There’s a particular kind of calculation that comes with being in your 30s.
You want to go out, but you also appreciate a comfortable schedule. You want to dance, catch up with friends, and enjoy a few drinks, but you may not be looking to sacrifice the entire next day just to have a good time.
That’s the idea behind TRENTAHIN’s signature HOME BY 12MN philosophy.
Launched in June 2026, TRENTAHIN is a recurring first-Saturday nightlife experience designed for millennials in their 30s and 40s. Its concept is simple: start earlier, make the most of the night, and let the party fit into the life you have now.
For Halloween, doors open at 8 p.m., with the main event scheduled from 8:30 p.m. to midnight. For those who still have energy to spare, the afterparty continues beyond midnight.
In other words, you can enjoy the thrill of a Halloween night out without feeling that you have to stay until sunrise to make it count.
The concept doesn’t demand that everyone go home at midnight. It simply gives partygoers the freedom to enjoy the evening on their own terms.
And for a generation balancing careers, family responsibilities, friendships, and personal time, that may be the most appealing part of all.
Five editions, thousands of reasons to return
TRENTAHIN’s first Halloween party comes after five editions that have collectively recorded 4,689 guest visits and more than 5 million documented social media views, according to the organizers.
Its previous editions welcomed 707 guests on June 6, 951 on July 4, 902 on August 1, 1,106 on September 5, and 1,023 on October 3.
Those figures suggest that the concept has found an audience among people who still value going out but want an experience that feels familiar, social, and compatible with their present-day lives.
For co-founder and CEO Nikko Que of The Nexperience Group, the Halloween edition is an opportunity to take that nostalgia further.
The goal, he explained, is not only to bring back the music and memories but also the things that scared the generation growing up.
That makes this edition more than another themed party. It combines the atmosphere of a Halloween celebration with the shared cultural references of a generation that grew up with Filipino horror, analog-era entertainment, and the dance music of the late ’90s and 2000s.
The setting is The Fun Roof, the rooftop nightlife venue in Poblacion that combines music, cocktails, games, themed spaces, and social experiences.
It’s a place to reconnect with old friends, meet fellow nostalgia enthusiasts, and create new memories without pretending that adulthood has taken away the right to enjoy a little harmless chaos.

Costumes inspired by ’90s horror are encouraged, making this an opportunity to bring back a favorite childhood fright, recreate a memorable character, or simply show up ready to enjoy the music.
Growing older doesn’t mean growing out of fun
Perhaps the real appeal of TRENTAHIN is that it understands something about the generation it wants to bring together: nostalgia isn’t necessarily about wanting to be young again.
Sometimes, it’s about reconnecting with the people, music, movies, and experiences that made growing up memorable—and discovering that those things can still bring people together today.
The responsibilities may be different. The schedules may be tighter. The recovery time after a night out may be longer.
But the desire to laugh with friends, sing along to a favorite song, dance without worrying about tomorrow for a few hours, and share a genuinely good night hasn’t disappeared.
This Halloween, the ghosts of your childhood aren’t the only things making a comeback. So are the songs you remember, the stories you grew up with, and the version of yourself who never needed much of a reason to enjoy a night out.
You’re in your 30s. You’ve survived deadlines, adulting, and probably a few real-life horror stories of your own.
Now it’s time for a different kind of scare.
Bring your friends. Wear the costume. Sing the old songs. Relive the memories—and make a few new ones.
Because you’re never too old for a good Halloween party.
You’re just too old for an all-nighter you didn’t sign up for.
And if the night is still young when the clock strikes midnight, the afterparty is waiting.
