Canon has unveiled eight new imagePROGRAF TM Series models, headlined by the series’ first multifunction printers (MFPs) equipped with built-in large-format scanners. Designed with a compact footprint and convenient front-side operation, the new lineup caters to the needs of offices, engineering firms, and print shops.

The new range consists of six printer models—the TM-5500, TM-5600, TM-5510, TM-5515, TM-5610, and TM-5615—and two multifunction printers: the 36-inch TM-5610M and the 24-inch TM-5510M.
Key features and innovations include:
- Compact all-in-one functionality: Print, copy, and scan using a single compact machine with dimensions comparable to printer-only models. Originals can be placed directly on the flat top for convenient scanning.
- Cleaner, more precise scans: Dual-sided light sources help minimize shadows, wrinkles, and creases in scanned documents. Dedicated presets for CAD drawings, blueprints, and maps help deliver optimal results for different document types.
- Sharper technical drawings: A five-colour pigment ink system featuring newly developed matte black ink produces deeper blacks, crisp lines, and precise text, even at high printing speeds.
- More vibrant posters: New colour-mapping technology delivers vivid, eye-catching prints, including when printing on plain paper.
Canon also incorporates sustainability measures into the new lineup. Parts of the printer body are made using approximately 5% recycled iron and 25% recycled plastic, helping reduce reliance on virgin materials.
