In a major cross-border partnership, Paolo and Miguel Benjamin of the acclaimed indie folk-pop outfit Ben&Ben are spotlighting Filipino ingenuity on a regional scale. The twin brothers have joined Toyota Motor Asia’s newest cultural venture, ‘Move Your World Beat.’ Conceived alongside creative agency VIRTUE Asia, the project tasks the duo and a collective of Asian artists with reshaping ordinary vehicle sounds into innovative musical tracks that honor artistic expression and cross-cultural unity.

The initiative serves as a creative bridge across the region, uniting both veteran icons and rising talents to experiment with sound and motivate young artists to celebrate their identity through music. Beyond a simple campaign, the project acts as a sustainable platform where Toyota champions Asian storytelling, blending deep cultural roots with modern artistic innovation.

“At its heart, Move Your World is about Toyota’s commitment to the communities in Asia – the freedom to move, and the thrill and joy of moving forward together. With Move Your World Beat, we bring that same spirit to music, a universal language that unites our communities and moves us all a little closer,” shared Jaja Ishibashi, General Manager of Toyota Motor Asia. “By supporting creators and bringing different voices together, we hope to inspire new forms of expression and show that when we move together, we can create something greater than any one of us could achieve alone.”

Representing the Philippines, Paolo and Miguel stand alongside an impressive roster of Asian creators, featuring Malaysia’s Belle Sisoski, Pakistan’s Natasha Noorani, Singapore’s Shye, Thailand’s Valentina Ploy, and Vietnam’s 2pillz. Introduced via a TikTok-centric creator initiative, the campaign tasks each artist with crafting an original song by sampling various Toyota components—ranging from structural clicks and ambient cabin hums to manufactured system alerts—and reinterpreting them through their individual genres.

By reshaping mechanical vehicle noises into artistic pieces, the project underscores how mobility extends far beyond physical transit into cultural and emotional realms. Each resulting track honors the specific musician’s stylistic fingerprint, together forming a collective anthology that honors Asian diversity through a unified artistic medium.

Set to wrap up later this year, the campaign will merge the musical inputs of all six participating countries into a final collective track that celebrates regional unity.

Looking past its initial rollout, ‘Move Your World Beat’ is designed to operate as a permanent platform. The material produced by each inaugural artist will serve as the foundation for future regional collaborations built around community, artistic innovation, and cultural exchange.
