Rising Japanese boy group ONE OR EIGHT is kicking off an exciting new chapter with the release of their dynamic single “POWER,” a preview from their upcoming mini album GATHER, set to drop on 28 January. The track marks a major milestone for the group, as it has been selected as the Ending Theme Song 1 for the highly anticipated new season of Yoroi-Shinden Samurai Troopers (also known as Ronin Warriors). This is the group’s very first anime tie-up, adding an electrifying new dimension to their growing presence.
The anime Yoroi-Shinden Samurai Troopers began airing on 6 January and is now streaming across two seasons via Crunchyroll in Southeast Asia and DEX in Thailand. With its thrilling narrative and intense action, the anime’s themes align perfectly with the powerful message of ONE OR EIGHT’s new track.
“POWER” captures the group’s signature vocal energy and emotional depth, while radiating a sense of determination and unity that resonates with the anime’s storyline. The track is an uplifting anthem with soaring melodies, showcasing the eight-member group’s expanding musical ambition as they gear up for GATHER, their highly anticipated mini album.
Last December, members of REIA, TSUBASA, and TAKERU made a special appearance at the anime’s advance screening event in Tokyo, sharing their excitement about the tie-up.

With GATHER, ONE OR EIGHT embarks on a bold new musical journey, blending their energetic global-pop sound with powerful visuals while staying true to their core themes of unity and empowerment. Fans, known as 1DERZ, are eagerly awaiting the mini album’s global release on 28 January.
In addition to the release, ONE OR EIGHT is gearing up for a return to Thailand this February for Japan Expo in Bangkok, followed by their first-ever live tour, which will begin in March. The tour promises to bring their high-energy performances to new cities and stages, with more dates to be announced soon.
