Nateman, Baby Blood, and Yung Bawal Unite for PUSO AT ISIP

The music video drops on October 1, 2025 at 10:00 pm, PH time

Filipino rappers Nateman and Baby Blood join forces with acclaimed producer Yung Bawal for “PUSO AT ISIP,” a smooth yet emotionally charged track that dives into the beautiful chaos between heart and mind — passion and reason, peace and risk.

The sound of love’s contradictions

Built on Yung Bawal’s lush, minimalist production, “PUSO AT ISIP” blends magnetic grooves with sleek lyricism. Nateman and Baby Blood trade verses that unravel the tension between desire and doubt, crafting a story as relatable as it is hypnotic.

Driven by Caribbean-inspired rhythms, sultry melodies, and clever, playful wordplay, the track asks the timeless question: Do we follow the calm of logic or surrender to the fire of love? With every verse, it keeps listeners vibing long after the beat fades.

“This song really came out of nowhere — from pure feeling and soul,” says Nateman, describing the creative spontaneity that fueled the collaboration.

His brother and partner-in-rhyme Baby Blood echoes that sentiment, bringing an emotional yet witty edge to his performance.

“We’re proud of the outcome,” he shares. “The chemistry is undeniable. Each of us brought our own energy and craftsmanship, but it all came together seamlessly.”

Crafted with precision and soul

Behind the boards, Yung Bawal steers the production with his signature precision and sensitivity to each artist’s individuality.

“I first worked with Nateman on a remix earlier this year and loved the energy,” Yung Bawal recalls. “He brought Baby Blood into the session — I didn’t even know they were brothers at first. The track just flowed from there.”

Unlike most producers, Yung Bawal doesn’t rely on pre-made beats.

“Every beat I make is tailored for the artist I’m working with,” he explains. “That’s why no two of my tracks sound alike. I always ask about the vibe, the inspiration, and what story they want to tell before I even touch the keys.”

A cinematic visual to match the vibe

The release of “PUSO AT ISIP” comes with a cinematic music video, described by Yung Bawal as having a “telenovela-like” flair — complete with passion, conflict, and striking visuals.

“Ang guwapo-guwapo namin dun (we look so good),” Nateman jokes, laughing about how the MV made them feel like stars of their own primetime drama.

The video also features social media personality Christine Samson, adding even more allure to the project’s storytelling.
