“As one of the country’s busiest travel periods approaches, AirAsia is fully prepared to serve our kababayans who will be paying respect to their departed loved ones or spending quality time with family during the long weekend. These frequency upgrades are designed to offer more seats and flight options for our guests, ensuring a smooth and convenient travel experience,” said AirAsia Philippines President & CEO Capt. Suresh Bangah.
Last year, AirAsia achieved an impressive 83% load factor during the Undas season. With the growing demand for travel this year, the airline expects an even stronger turnout of passengers.
To ensure hassle-free journeys, AirAsia is reminding travelers to Travel Smart this Peak Season:
- Book early – Secure the best fares by planning at least a month ahead.
- Check baggage allowance – Weigh luggage in advance and pre-purchase additional baggage via the AirAsia MOVE app or website to save on counter fees.
- Check in online – Skip the lines by checking in on the app and heading straight to the bag drop counters.
- Arrive early – Be at the airport at least 2 hours before domestic and 3 hours before international flights to avoid delays.
With expanded flights, smarter travel tips, and its commitment to guest convenience, AirAsia Philippines is ready to fly more Filipinos home this Undas season—safe, smooth, and on time.
