Acer has officially launched the Acer Chromebook Plus Spin 514, its first Chromebook to feature the MediaTek Kompanio Ultra processor with integrated NPU, delivering efficient AI-driven performance, extended battery life, and a premium convertible design built for creators, professionals, educators, and everyday multitaskers.

AI-Powered Performance for Modern Workflows
The Chromebook Plus Spin 514 (CP514-5HN) is optimized for the latest ChromeOS features, powered by the MediaTek Kompanio Ultra chipset, which delivers 50 TOPS of AI processing power. This enables real-time automation, personalized computing, and on-device generative AI—all while protecting privacy offline.
Graphics-intensive tasks are supported by the Arm Immortalis-G925 MC11 GPU, while its efficiency allows up to 17 hours of battery life on a single charge. Integrated Google AI features, like Smart Grouping, Gallery Image Editing, and Quick Insert, streamline productivity and creativity. A complimentary 12-month Google AI Pro subscription unlocks advanced AI tools in Gemini, NotebookLM, Flow, plus 2 TB of cloud storage.
Built Tough, Designed to Adapt
The military-grade MIL-STD 810H certified chassis combines a premium aluminum finish with durability to withstand drops up to 122 cm and heavy daily use. Its 360° hinge supports four modes—laptop, tablet, tent, or display—ideal for multitasking in any setting.
The 14-inch touchscreen display (available in WQXGA+ 2800×1800 or WUXGA 1920×1200 options) is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass with anti-fingerprint coating. Stylus support with USI 2.0 enables natural note-taking and gesture-based editing for intuitive workflows. At just 1.36 kg and 15.5 mm thin, it’s ultraportable without compromise.
Smart Features for Connection and Creativity
Video calls shine with a choice of 5MP or 1080p webcams enhanced by AI tools for lighting, clarity, noise reduction, and background blur, plus live translations in up to 12 languages. A privacy shutter, dual speakers with DTS audio, and AI-powered controls ensure professional-quality communication.
Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, dual USB-C ports, and optional backlit keyboard, while the eco-friendly OceanGlass™ touchpad is made from recycled ocean-bound plastic.
Expanded Chromebox Lineup for Work and Education
Acer also unveiled two new Chromebox models:
- Chromebox CXI6 – powered by up to Intel® Core™ 7 processors, supporting up to 4 displays, with five USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, Wi-Fi 6E, and 2.5G LAN for business, retail, or education setups.
- Chromebox Mini CXM2 – a fanless, ultra-compact solution powered by Intel Core 3 processors, supporting up to 3 displays with quiet, efficient performance for space-limited environments.
Both can be mounted behind monitors via optional VESA kits and secured with Kensington locks.
Enterprise-Ready with ChromeOS
For business deployments, Acer introduced Enterprise versions of the Chromebook Plus Spin 514, Chromebox CXI6, and Chromebox Mini CXM2—bundled with Chrome Enterprise Upgrade for best-in-class security, centralized management, and flexible workforce solutions.
