Rising pop powerhouse JADE returns with her newest single “Plastic Box,” a pulsing electro synth-pop track drenched in raw emotion and shimmering production. Co-written with GRADES and Lauren Aquilina and co-produced by Oscar Görres, the track explores the toxic insecurities and jealousy that bubble up when thinking about a partner’s past relationships.

“Plastic Box is about that irrational and toxic insecurity we sometimes feel—even when we know it’s not fair or logical. It’s a happy-sad pop song, and one of my favorites I’ve ever written,” JADE shares.
The track is the latest offering from her highly anticipated debut solo album ‘THAT’S SHOWBIZ BABY!’—slated for release on September 12. The album promises a dazzling pop spectacle, with an A-list production lineup that includes Mike Sabath, Lostboy, Cirkut, RAYE, and Pablo Bowman.
Fresh off her unforgettable performances at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend and Mighty Hoopla, JADE debuted “Plastic Box” to massive crowd reactions—further proving her grip on pop stardom. This momentum follows her BRIT Award win for Pop Act, where her theatrical performance of “Angel Of My Dreams” stole the show and went viral, amassing over 2 million views. Critics hailed it as one of the greatest BRITs performances of all time, with The Guardian calling it “peculiar and episodic—in the best way possible.”
JADE’s solo career continues to soar, with 190 million streams racked up in just 10 months. Her debut single “Angel Of My Dreams” not only scored an Ivor Novello nomination for Best Contemporary Song but also claimed No.1 Song of 2024 by DIY Magazine and a Top 10 spot in The Guardian, NME, Clash, and DORK. Its visually stunning music video was named Video of the Year by Dazed and trended No.1 on YouTube for ten days straight.
The accolades didn’t stop there—JADE closed out 2024 with a Trailblazer Award from Rolling Stone UK and a cover feature to match. Commercially, “Angel Of My Dreams” peaked at No.7 on the Official UK Singles Chart and stayed in the Top 20 for over two months, collecting more than 100 million streams globally.
In addition to “Plastic Box”, JADE’s recent singles—“Midnight Cowboy,” “Fantasy” (directed by David LaChapelle), “IT Girl,” and “FUFN”—have showcased her sonic range and fearless reinvention of the modern pop star.
JADE’s ‘THAT’S SHOWBIZ BABY! – THE TOUR’—her first-ever solo headlining run in the UK and Ireland—sold out instantly. Kicking off this October, the tour includes stops in Dublin, Manchester, Glasgow, London’s Roundhouse, and more.
And she’s not slowing down. This summer, JADE is set to electrify the stage at Glastonbury, TRNSMT, All Points East, and the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland, solidifying her status as a global force in pop music.
