MindNation Mental Health Awareness Month campaign calls for urgent action in the workplace.

Mental health and well-being organization MindNation has revealed alarming findings in its newly released 2024 WellBeing Survey, showing a significant rise in mental health challenges among Filipinos compared to 2022. With input from over 13,000 respondents, the data highlights a sharp increase in reported stress, worry, and sadness—signaling a growing mental health crisis that demands immediate attention.
The Numbers Tell a Story of Crisis

- Stress levels jumped from 57% in 2022 to 72% in 2024
- Worry rose from 47% to 68%
- Sadness increased from 34% to 50%
These findings suggest that emotional fatigue, mental burnout, and day-to-day distress are becoming the norm for many Filipino employees.
Top Mental Health Stressors in 2024:
- Financial strain – 54%
- Work pressure – 34%
- Physical health issues – 26%
- Family problems – 24%
- Work-life balance challenges – 22%
- Job insecurity – 15%
“What we’re seeing is not just burnout—it’s a quiet mental health crisis unraveling at work and at home,” said Cat Triviño, co-founder and Chief Product & Data Officer of MindNation. “There’s greater awareness now, but many still suffer in silence. It’s time to normalize accessible, proactive mental health care.”
