Calling all sneakerheads, families, and fans of all things cool—“Sneaks” is lacing up for the big screen! Catch this fun-filled animated feature starting April 19, showing exclusively at SM Cinemas. It’s a must-watch for kids, teens, and adults who live and breathe sneaker culture.

Brought to the Philippines by Reality MM Studios, “Sneaks” follows the action-packed journey of Ty and Maxine—two mismatched sneakers voiced by Anthony Mackie and Chloe Bailey—who get separated during an escape and must navigate the city to reunite. Along the way, they meet a wild mix of kicks, from street-smart JB (voiced by Martin Lawrence) to rising baller Edson (Swae Lee), and their fiery foe, The Forger (Roddy Ricch).
Keep your eyes peeled! The movie is packed with cleverly reimagined animated versions of real-life sneaker icons—perfect for die-hard fans.
The soundtrack is just as stylish as the visuals, featuring music curated by Grammy-nominated producer Mustard (Kendrick Lamar, Travis Scott, Rihanna), with an original score by jazz maestro Terrace Martin.
Adding extra flair to the film are custom-designed Nike characters Sky and Rayssa, voiced by real-life skateboarding stars Sky Brown and Rayssa Leal. A special “Sneaks” colorway will also drop alongside the film, giving fans something fresh to rock offscreen.

To keep it real, the creators brought on sneaker culture legend Bobbito García for creative direction—ensuring authenticity from heel to toe.
“We set out to make a unique animated buddy-comedy with heart, set in the world of sneakers and hip-hop,” said producer Len Hartman. “Without the right shoes, we never would’ve made it—and thankfully, we had Sneaks.”
Blending style, heart, music, and street culture, “Sneaks” is more than a movie—it’s a celebration of self-expression and stepping into your own story.
Catch the premiere on April 11 and experience the full journey in cinemas starting April 19—only at SM Cinemas.
