The campaign highlighted the diversity and interconnectedness of nature while encouraging participants to become advocates of biodiversity through their social media posts and donations. A generous portion of proceeds from the campaign will support WWF-Philippines’ conservation initiatives.

COVID-19 served as a wake-up call for all of us. With the #OneWorld2021 campaign, we wanted to remind everyone that everything in this planet is linked to one another and humanity is always connected to nature. Every decision we make affects everyone else, so let’s work together as one and bring positive change for the planet,” said WWF-Philippines Executive Director Katherine Custodio.

The demand for environmental degradation is on its peak at this times. WWF-Philippines hopes that #OneWorld2021 will continue to make people talk about the “one world, one health” action that we should be talking about – where the life of humans and animals is connected in building sustainable community.
