World Gala Premiere of ‘Ten Little Mistresses’

‘Mistress Murder Mystery’ marks Prime Video’s foray into Filipino original content arena to be streamed in 240 countries, territories

On February 7th, 2023, Prime Video held a blue carpet gala premiere for its newest release, “Ten Little Mistresses.” The film is set to stream worldwide on the 15th of February in over 240 countries and territories, marking the first Filipino Amazon Original movie to be released by the streaming giant.

Featuring an all-star cast, including Eugene Domingo, Christian Bables, Arci Muñoz, and John Arcilla, the film is a murder-mystery comedy that follows ten mistresses as they compete to become the legal wife of a wealthy Filipino billionaire, Valentin Esposo. When Valentin turns up dead, all ten women become prime suspects and must work to clear their names and find the real killer.

The film is directed by Jun Robles Lana and produced by Perci Intalan of The Idea First Company, a duo known for their work on blockbuster and critically-acclaimed films.

Lana expressed his excitement about the opportunity to bring a Filipino film to a global audience through Prime Video. “I’ve always waited for the chance to do a murder mystery film,” said Lana. “With Prime Video, everything fell into place so perfectly. We just want to make the audience laugh and show that our comedy is universal.”

Intalan shared that the global reach of the film is a testament to the hard work of every world-class Filipino artist involved in the project. He said, “It’s still surreal now, knowing that we’ll be in 240 countries and territories.
