Who can forget the beautiful voice of one of the greatest female singers of all time: Whitney Houston. Her music is unforgettable! My favorites like ‘I Will Always Love You’ from the soundtrack of the movie The Bodyguard where she starred with Kevin Costner. The memorable soundtrack includes the powerful ‘Run to You’ and ‘I Have Nothing’ plus the beat of ‘Queen of the Night’. What a beautiful movie and great soundtrack.
Her death on February 11, 2012, was a shock to the fans and the music industry but her timeless music lives on.
To pay tribute to her legacy, Showtime Management dedicated over 12 months to perfecting a production and finding the right star to pay tribue to Whitney Houston. After conducting over 15,000 auditions in 12 countries, they have found South African vocalist BELINDA DAVIDS. The tribute concert The Greatest Love Of All: The Whitney Houston Show features the full production show from the US where they toured and had sell out shows across Europe. With a full band, dancers and theatrical effects, the audience will have a spectacular concert experience same as the previous original Whitney Houston concerts.
This 2 ½ hour concert will feature her famous song: ‘How Will I Know’, ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody’, ‘Where Do Broken Hearts Go’, ‘Didn’t We Almost Have It All’, ‘I’m Every Woman’, ‘One Moment In Time’, ‘I Have Nothing’ and of course, ‘I Will Always Love You’ and many more.
It will be as authentic as the origianl Whitney Houston concert minus her. Belinda Davids voice as I heard is so close to Whitney’s voice that if you close your eyes, you will be hearing her voice as if it was Whitney’s.
