University Students Showcase Singing Talents in “Tawag ng Tanghalan: School Showdown”

The prestigious singing competition “Tawag ng Tanghalan” welcomes students from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao to represent their schools and showcase their vocal talents in the “Tawag in Tanghalan: School Showdown.”

In the eighth season of “It’s Showtime’s” iconic singing contest, two contenders from different universities will compete head-to-head, aiming to impress the judges with their golden voices.

During the contest’s first episode, psychology student Hannah Grace Espadol from the University of St. La Salle Bacolod wowed judges Louie Ocampo, Erik Santos, and Zsa Zsa Padilla with her rendition of Maymay Entrata’s hit song, “Amakabogera,” earning the highest combined score of 95%. She outshone Kyshia Razon of Mater Dei College, who garnered 93.3%.

Netizens took to Twitter to express their support for the newest edition of “TNT” and praised the show for showcasing students from different schools.
