Thrilling Grand Prix Finale Last Stop of TGR Vios Cup 2023!

Get ready for another remarkable weekend as Toyota Motor Philippines unveils the Grand Prix to conclude the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing (TGR) Vios Cup 2023 season on November 11, 2023, at Clark International Speedway in Pampanga.

TGR enthusiasts can anticipate an electrifying conclusion to this year’s Vios Cup, brimming with thrilling action and resounding cheers as racers vie for supremacy on the podium in their quest for the season championship. Adding even more intensity to the competition, the Grand Prix will serve as the pinnacle of the Circuit Championship.

The TGR Vios Cup Grand Prix will be the decisive race that determines this season’s champions. Each driver will have a challenging 1.5-hour stint on the race track, and the victor will be the one who completes the most laps, earning double points in this endurance showdown.

A total of 30 racers representing three classes—Super Sporting, Sporting, and Promotional—will line up on the grid simultaneously, with each driver making a mandatory pitstop, elevating the excitement and suspense to new heights.

The action-packed weekend will be further heated up by racing luminaries in the Super Sporting class, such as Red Diwa, Lord Seno, Joaquin Garrido, Gerard Loy, Troy Montero, John Dizon, Bryan Co, Royce Sarmiento, Ian Rosales, and the newcomer, Jacob Ang.

The Sporting class will feature a mix of seasoned pros and up-and-coming talents, including Alan Palacios, Russel Cabrera, Michael Keilani Jordan, Jay Lai, Bern Corpino, Marky Young, Maila Alivia, and the dynamic father-son duo of Darrell Garbes and Jiro Garbes, along with Miguel Quiñones, the Golden Wheel Awards Foundation Driver of the Year.

Keep an eye on the Promotional class, where racers like Jarond Mesina, Alain Alzona, Bong Garbes, Paolo Ayo, Chris Gleeson, Rich Lim, Paul Ang, as well as celebrities Enzo Pineda and Ryan Agoncillo, will bring their flair to the track. Notably, Julia Delos Angeles, who embarked on her Vios Cup journey at the age of 16, will also be part of the excitement.

Don’t miss the Autocross Challenge, where popular figures like Macoy Dubs, Megan Young, and Benedict Cua will add their excitement and competition to the mix. They will be joined by a diverse lineup of racers, including Ezra Domingo, Genesis Redido, Apple David, Arianne Bautista, Reph Bangsil, Migy Romulo, Bianca Yao, Carla Lizardo, and Lexi Mendiola.

In addition to the Circuit Championship and Autocross Challenge, this leg will kick off with a thrilling drifting exhibition, featuring TGR Team’s Ryan Agoncillo and acclaimed Filipino racers, Luis Gono and Alex Perez. The event will also see the return of TGR Vios Cup media class alumni, Jamil Lacuna from Autoindustriya and Pablo Salapantan from YugaAuto, in an exhibition Autocross Challenge, along with former media class champion, Jose Altoveros.

To stoke the GAZOO spirit, spectators can explore the GR-S lineup, which includes the Fortuner GR-S and Rush GR-S, on display in the TGR Vios Cup 2023 activity area. Sponsors have also arranged a variety of games and activities for the audience to enjoy. Wrapping up the adrenaline-pumping festivities, the up-and-coming indie band Sunkissed Lola will perform, setting the perfect mood for both racers and spectators at the speedway.

TGR Vios Cup Leg 3 is organized in collaboration with Bridgestone and Petron, with the support of Denso, AVT, 3M, ROTA, Tuason Racing, Kinto, and myToyota wallet.
