The All-New Grand China Acrobatic Circus from Dec 25 to Jan 4, 2020

The All-New Grand China Acrobatic Circus is a heart-stopping show of daring and thrilling performances guaranteed to be a hit among audiences young and old. It features mind-blowing tricks, death-defying acts, graceful choreography loaded with color and excitement deftly presented by internationally renowned and multi-awarded Chinese acrobats from Beijing, China.

The China National Acrobatic Troupe has amazed audiences with feats of strength and daring acts performed cleverly, precisely and accurately, and the ability to retain balance in motion. Audiences will marvel at the world-class skills of the acrobats as they perform routines of compelling choreography practiced over centuries, making this a perfect show for families to enjoy.

Acts:

  1. Gorgeous Girls with Diabolo (Chinese Yo-yo)

Starring Peking Opera’s Huadan. (Heroine) in beautifully choreographed diabolo techniques and dances. Performers are dressed up in a splendid fashion that playfully teases the eyes of the audiences. This gracefully matches the intrinsic movements of the performers as they skip and catch diabolos.

2. Plate Spin

In this act, performers sing and dance while balancing and spinning 10 plates in their hands. This also includes an actress balancing the spinning plates in a backward bending position while standing on another actor’s head.

3. Chinese Red (Bicycle Skill)

A breathtaking show where a number of performers doing a series of exciting and fascinating acrobatics while all rides in one bicycle.

4. Rose Bud (Contortionist)

An actor performs as a mythical fox in a series of dance, contortion, and coquetry.

5. The Ninth Wave (Skills on Poles)

This act is inspired by the famous Russian painter Ivan Aivazovsky and his work depicting soldiers braving the angry ocean.

Performers do amazing stunts and jaw-dropping movements in a pole.

6. Holy Warriors (Stunts through Hoops)

Masterfully tumbling through hoops with a variety of speed, coherence and dazzling somersaults, Actors will awe the audiences.

This act challenges gravity as performers tumble in a tower of hoops with a spectacular height of 3 meters.

7. Lotus (Umbrella Juggling)

Can you juggle five balls in your hands? How about four umbrellas? Yes. In this act, an actor juggles a number of an umbrella with his hands and feet.

8. Ball Catching

Now, juggle a number of balls in your hands while going up and down the stairs or even do crazy stunts.
