In an event held last Friday, the company introduced its next generation Smart store in Powerplant Mall, Makati City. Different lifestyle nooks featuring digital services Spinnr, Deezer, Buqo, GameX and Zalora were unveiled, which also happened at Smart Stores in Robinsons Magnolia and SM Aura Premier.
Present during the event were celebrity endorsers Jasmine Curtis-Smith, James Reid and Nadine Lustre. The Voice contender from Team Bamboo Myk Perez also serenated the crowd.
Beyond its physical transformation into a hip cafe-inspired hub, their stores encourage up close and personal transactions with customers, with focus on their needs and lifestyle. With this level of customer service, Smart frontliners can offer the best products and services suitable for them.
Smart store visitors can look forward to using the Digital Profiler, a touchscreen wall kiosk that enables them to preview devices and plans and an automated queueing system, the iQueue, sends an SMS alert to inform a customer if his/her turn is coming soon.
Currently there are 18 revamped stores all over the country, with a total of 78 stores excepted to be completed by 2015.
Meanwhile, Smart also announced that they will offer iPad Air 2 with WiFi + cellular and iPad mini 3 with WiFi + cellular later this week, both available starting at Plan 1499. The plan comes with 85 hours of Internet surfing every month. An initial cash-out of P7,200 and P2,700, respectively, will apply upon subscription.
