Smart brings Apple Music its customers exclusive 6-month FREE subscription

Leading mobile services provider Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) announced today that they will be introducing an exclusive 6-month free Apple Music subscription for all Smart Prepaid and Smart Postpaid subscribers powered by the country’s fastest mobile network. Smart customers may claim this by simply logging in to their updated GigaLife App and activating the offer to start enjoying Apple Music’s incredible catalog of 75 million songs, ad-free.

Designed for music lovers, Apple Music offers thousands of songs in immersive Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos providing listeners a revolutionary experience that brings true multidimensional sound and clarity — now with Dynamic Head Tracking capabilities. Apple Music also offers its full catalog in Lossless Audio so that users can unlock amazing definition and stream songs in their original, uncompromised quality.

More enjoyable and immersive

This offer is one of the many ways Smart continues to bring amazing digital experiences to those in the Philippines, and enable them to live the Giga Life as they pursue their passions.

“Our partnership with Apple to bring Apple Music to our subscribers is our latest step in bringing them closer to their musical passions. Filipinos are big music lovers, and Apple Music’s massive library and advanced features offer a unique experience that makes listening to our favorite songs more enjoyable and immersive – just the way our favorite artists envisioned them,” said Jane J. Basas, SVP and Head of Consumer Wireless Business at Smart.

Aside from enjoying ad-free music with superior audio quality, Apple Music allows users to follow along with time-synced lyrics, download music to listen to offline, make and share playlists with friends and enjoy daily recommendations based on the music they love. Users can also listen to radio stations across all genres, including the award-winning global live Apple Music radio, explore handpicked music and playlists from Apple Music editors, and find out more about their favorite artists through interviews, exclusive music video content, and much more.

Make the Smart move now

The announcement of the exclusive offer comes on the heels of the launch of Mobile Number Portability (MNP), which will now enable non-Smart users to make the Smart move and switch to the country’s fastest mobile network without changing their mobile number.

To switch to the Smart network, a mobile user must first secure a Unique Subscriber Code from his or her originating provider to serve as clearance and bring it to the nearest Smart Store along with a valid ID and any proof of mobile ownership. From there, Smart shall begin processing the MNP application without any charges.  Make the Smart now by visiting x.smart/switch or heading to the nearest Smart Store.

Philippines’ fastest 5G network

Smart Prepaid subscribers can enjoy Apple Music to their hearts’ content with GIGA offers available on the GigaLife App. On the other hand, Smart Postpaid users can rely on their plan’s generous data allocation, which they can conveniently track on the GigaLife App.

Smart subscribers enjoy next-level speeds with the country’s fastest and most reliable 5G mobile network as reported by Ookla®, the global leader in internet testing and analysis. To date, Smart has already fired up over 4,400 sites in more than 4,000 locations nationwide making it the country’s first, fastest, and widest 5G network.

Smart has also reasserted its dominance as the Philippines’ fastest mobile network for the fourth year in a row, based on analysis by Ookla of tests taken with Speedtest® covering the first half of 2021.

Enjoy a superb music streaming experience on the Smart network by downloading the Apple Music app now on the App Store and Google Play Store.
